          The knife set has every knife you could want for most cooking/prep needs. All three knives are very sharp. The two paring knives are a bit redundant but its easy to keep one for meat and one for veggies and not worry about spreading bacteria. The chefs knife well balanced and seemed to be fit a variety of hands, and maybe more well suited for smaller hands. The scissors are better than most, seems to cut most anything, and come apart for cleaning and this also ensures that the joint will fail in the future. The block has a small footprint which was nice in our small kitchen.

Wusthof Classic 8 Piece Knife Block Set Review

These are great knives --but they're almost too sharp! I sliced into a finger the first time I used em, because I'm so used to blunt kitchen implements, I wasn't giving them the proper attention! Even the scissors are spookily sharp.

Of course, if you aren't a klutz like me, these are remarkable chef's tools.

We have Wusthof Grand Prix knives and LOVE them--they're the best knives we've ever had. We wanted the matching steak knives, but I just couldn't spend that much for knives--especially since we had enough other knives we could technically use (tomato kniefe, paring knife, etc.). But then we just decided dammit, we're getting steak knives. And ran across these--perfectly lovely knives for a much cheaper price (and still the Wusthof name).

And they are awesome--they are beautiful, they are small but hefty, and they work really well. What more can you ask for?

          I was recommended to purchase these knives and it was a very good choice! They cut excellently and I don't have to saw through anything. They are a wonderful upgrade from my serrated knives I had before that were very dull (however they weren't supposed to get dull for a lifetime). I can sharpen these whenever I need to and they work great every time!
