J.A. Henckels S.O.S. 8 Piece Stainless Steel Steak Knife Set in Wood Gift Box Review
I had replaced a cheapo set of steak knives with this set and I am delighted. Their simple stainless steel construction and design works back to my stainless cutlery set and makes a nice table presentation. They cut even the thickest steaks well and without much effort. They are dishwasher safe and have remained as sharp as they were when I first started using them.
The only objection that some folks might have to this set is that the blades are serrated instead of straight. The end result is that instead of slicing meat it actually tears it. I personally don't have a problem with serrated edges, but some people might not like them.
The rosewood gift box provides secure storage when not in use and also makes these knives a nice option for a gift. The quality of this set offsets the price. These knives are made for a lifetime of use.
